Lila followed.
The tunnel wasn’t dark.
It whispered.
Not words. Not warnings. Just soft sounds—like pages turning, pencils sketching, tea being poured.
She walked slowly.
Each glyph she passed glowed brighter, then dimmed behind her.
She didn’t need the map anymore.
She knew the way.
