The Garden Glows

Chapter 4 Segment 5 of the Sentient She Shed

The garden pulsed.

Not with urgency.

With joy.

The flash drives blinked in rhythm, forming soft patterns in the soil. The Memory Tree shimmered, its leaves swaying gently, each one singing its own quiet song.

Lila stood in the center.

She didn’t speak.

She didn’t need to.

The garden glowed around her—petals of light blooming from the soil, sketches rising like butterflies, forgotten ideas dancing in the air.

The mouse bowed.

The flash drive blinked once, then twice.

Lila smiled.

She hadn’t just visited the garden.

She’d helped it grow.
