Born on December 17th, in Elyria, Ohio.
Poet and Artist, Darious Calhoun, but known as El’Kaireon “The Voice of the Fire”.
I began my earliest poetry and writings in 2nd grade during elementary school. My passions have
always been writing, music and art. I am the husband to Telytha Calhoun, we have a lovely family of children and grandchildren, she was the first person to ever get me to read my poetry on a stage for an audience. Currently I am working on my book series titled “Diaries & Obituaries “, a collection of poems that date back as far as 2003. I love nature, reading my Bible and studying about anything that can go deep into a rabbit hole. I’m also working on rebuilding my clothing line that I started in 2023 and hope to have merchandise to go with my books and projects. I have high hopes for the future and the passion to create great one.
