Saying Goodbye to 2025 and Hello to 2026

Yes, I may be a bit early, but with the way things are right now I wanted to share an update on the happenings in The She Shed and in life. I know I’ve been slow with posts—that’s on me. I should have, could have made the time.

We all know how changes can knock you off your feet for a while. Then you stand up, brush off, and remind yourself it’s just an opportunity to find or do something better. Change can be a new door opening, bringing even more experiences.

Today feels like one of those slow‑motion days. WordPress has been testing my patience with backups and updates, and honestly, I dropped my head to the desk more than once. But I did get through a big batch, and the site is running better than when I first booted it up. It reminded me how easy it is to let things pile up when life gets busy—and how much work it takes to get back on track.

I’m still figuring things out—job searching, writing, tinkering with the She Shed—but I’m moving forward, even if it’s not always pretty. That’s the rhythm here: some ups, some downs, and a lot of persistence in between.

I know the new year will bring great things. It’s all about attitude. There will be lows along with the highs, but that’s life, and we deal.

I’ll be making changes to my website soon, trying a few things I haven’t done before. Bear with me. I’m also planning something new for my Substack (click if you want to check it out?)—this one will focus more on my writing.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I’m looking forward to Christmas and the New Year.
